The owner and creator of all things ‘The Peel’ related is Tom. Establishing the business has been an exciting journey, which started at the very beginning with Tom, a self-confessed foodie, expressing his desire to set up a catering van, to now, becoming the enthusiastic owner of a fully converted Renault Master van, complete with an Italian wood fired oven.
We are a family run business, so I should also introduce myself: the voice behind these typed words and Tom’s right hand lady. I’m Laura, his wife. I’m an English teacher by profession and avid sharer of Tom’s love and enjoyment of food. Spending time in our kitchen, experimenting with different ingredients and trying new recipes has always been one of our happiest pastimes and now, by setting up The Peel: Wood Fired Kitchen, we are able to bring our passion to you!
So, what do we do? We use a combination of locally sourced and Italian ingredients to produce Neapolitan style pizzas in our wood fired oven. At the heart of our ethos are two words: quality and taste.
We serve gourmet pizzas that are cooked traditionally and quickly at very high temperatures in our oven. Give us a try!
